I just knitted this little soaker for a custom order.  I dyed yarn for another for the same customer.  It will be pink and green :D

In other knitting news...I frogged the pants that Willow is wearing in my last entry.  I'm half way through the body on take 2.  I'm making them much smaller.  They would not stay on her at all.  She would crawl out of them, or wake up from a nap with them off etc...

I'll be sure to post a new pic when they are done :D

Jackson is now officially an 8 year-old! I can't believe I am the mother of an 8 year-old child.  Wow.  He had a nice party and got some nice gifts (but not too many, thankfully).

I knitted these lovely pants with organic NZ merino dyed by Morwenna in my most favorite colorway "Rose Boquet"  I wanted a lot of use out them, so made them with some growing room.  Well, there is a LOT of growing room as evidenced here:

She actually crawled out of them.  I was going to sell them, but I just can't.  They are so soft and pretty.  Kylie wore them this evening, and they look so cute on her.  They are a little short, but they look like pj's. :)  I figure between the 3 girls they will get plenty of use.

Here is an absolutely adorable picture of Annabelle

My kids are the light of my life.  Just LOOK at that face.  OMG, she is so sweet.  That little stinker there wakes me up at night more than any of my other darlings, but she's cute enough that I don't mind ;)

Here is a picture of Kylie being silly.  She's getting to that age where its a little hard to get good pictures of her.  She has to be in a certain mood to ham it up for the camera:

Here is the birthday boy (in yellow) with his friends.  His two friends here are brothers.  The younger is in the box.  They had great fun rolling him around the room in that box.  So silly........

I really need to keep up with my blog more!

The twins had their first birthday on Nov. 28th. I'll share a pic. of them eating their apple sauce cupcakes

The party was really nice. We had just family over so it was really mellow.

Jackson is turning 8 on Dec. 12th, so we'll be having another birthday party on the 9th. This one won't be so mellow, since it will be minimal family and a bunch of 8 year-old boys.

The re-opening of Ky Baby Knits is slow going. I've made some fun trades, and sold one pair of pants. I've got a custom pending. No paypal yet, so I'm not counting it as a sure thing. I'm hoping once I get my yarn order from Wooly Wonders by Nada that I'll be able to sell some semi-customs. I have some awesome colorways coming.

Ian is graduating in 9 months. I'm hoping to get back to school next term so we can graduate at the same time. I have an advicing appointment next week, so we'll see what happens. I need a change from staying home with these kids. I LOVE my kids, but I need a few hours a day away from them. It is so challenging to be a SAHM. Kuddos to those who can do it long term. It is seriously the hardest job on Earth.

Anyway. That's all the big news in the Baker household.

My husband is graduating this summer!

I am so proud of my husband! It will have been 6 and a half years by the time he graduates. He will have a Bachelors in Radiation Health Physics. This, from a person who was labelled "learning disabled" in high school and was expected to work in a mill his whole life.

It looks like he will work at OHSU (Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital) while working on his Masters.

We really won't be starving students forever. LOL

Also, I recently completed my LLL application and am officially a leader. I have 4 classes left to complete my BS and then I will be on my way to being an IBCLC (Internation Board Certified Lactation Consultant).

That's about all for now!
